Similar to the regular Jap, but it has a black core and the wrap is loser, which shows the black through this makes for a different effect than using all gold, when used with antique Roccoco and twist this gives a whole new different look to Goldwork.

This is couched down in the same way as the normal Jap, but it is best to use a black thread.
